one version of my next illustration project: rework and existing 'master' work to include a new theme/style/both. i picked the starry night, and turned it into an embattled Iraqi town. i don't care if you are for or against this war, all war is bad, painful, and we should really be above it. oh well.
Cool! I wouldn't have noticed "Starry night" if you hadn't said it! But it's there, plain as day.. erm.. night!
As for war, this or any other one: it's just stupid and criminal. I believe that if leaders intend to start wars against each other, they should battle themselves to death, instead of sending troops.
It'd be a whole lot quicker and cleaner and, think of it, more efficient. If a country gets themselves a war loving president, then, by getting him to go fight, they'd solve two problems: the "war" and the warmonger leader!
I was looking at it and reading your description at the same time. I noticed the starry starry night just before you mentioned it...that's really neat. I love what it says

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
